So, here’s the thing. The Sunday School leaders at my church like to throw a party for the children on Halloween each year.

Rather than enjoying a time where dark and scary things are celebrated, we like to host a ‘Glow Party’, where we celebrate light and all that is joyful in the world! We have games, songs, a Drama (in which I play the Grandma; picture to come soon), and foooood, topped off with a message of God’s love and light.
This years’ theme was “Colour Explosion” - we were split into teams and assigned a colour. We then set up the main Church hall like a Fair; stations decorated majestically in their nominated colour, hosting 2 games, prize tokens, and sweets…
think of those “Everyone’s A Winner” stalls in every colour of the rainbow! :)
My team were Yellow, and we had a ‘Coin Toss’ game, and ‘Stick The Banana on The Monkey’.
It was a fantastic night, and I came away with a rainbow-coloured bowl of sweets made up from the leftovers of each area!

But enough of this, I know the burning question on all of your minds is my outfit…well, wonder no more, for here it is in all of its’ random, cobbled-together-from-many-different-things beauty!

9: Coke or Pepsi? - Coke all the way, there are faaaar more varieties. I’m not even a huge fan of normal flavour Coke or Pepsi, so this wins it for me! Diet Coke with Cherry…much prefer Vimto or Cherry 7UP….mmmm.
10: Drink/smoke? - Occasionally yes, but never for the purpose of getting drunk/not any more, but stupidly did for 2months around 4 years ago. That was during a rather foolish time in my life. Thank goodness for my turnaround.
11: Who was the last person you texted? - Andrew, explaining that i’m not sure i’ll be able to go rollerblading this saturday at our local leisure centre…
27: Do you consider yourself to be open-minded? - Yes I do; provided i’m not going to let it damage my relationship with my God, i’ll try (almost) anything once!

1: What is a memory that stands out to you from when you were younger? - playing on the slide in my Nan’s back garden, spoiling her cat rotten with attention and just generally being with her after church on a Sunday…i miss her very much.
5: Who in your family are you closest to? - I think i’m going to have to say my dad, although I guess I perhaps shouldn’t be able to choose, ideally? My dad has the same sense of humour as me, and we share similar opinions on things. My mum is wonderful too, but is too negative about too many things, and my sister? Well, we’re just polar opposites!
31: What is something about you that most people wouldn’t assume by looking at you? - Ouch, tricky one. Maybe that I enjoy acting? Not exactly stock ‘actor’ stuff to look at haha. :)
33: What do you think is the most important part of a relationship? - A shared (and active) love and reverence for God, and a desire to see Him being glorified through that relationship :] as well as the other stuff which is vital (trust, honesty, faithfulness, kindness, generosity, laughter and joy)!
36: Are you squeamish? - Nope, not especially! Gore doesn’t phase me, neither do bugs or anything like that!
46: Do you have anything you wish to say to someone at the moment? - There’s one thing I’d like to say to lots of people, and lots of things I could say to one person…but I’m not. yet.
51: What is the cutest thing a boy/girl has ever done for you? - A friend of mine made a huuuuuuge chocolate and jam cake for me once with my name and a smiley face on top of it in blue Millions (the sweets)…it was deeeeeee-lish! :D …it’d take a fair bit to top that!
