calling all Tweeps out there!
I know, I know…it’s kind of a nuisance working around the whole timezone situation. Having said that, I can totally see why God did it, because it means there’s always people serving and praying at all times of the day, so as some sleep, some serve!! Genius!!

Anyway, I’d love to be able to text those of you who live outside of the UK regularly, in the same way I text my UK-based friends, but naturally this would be a huge monetary drain -

We may only be limited to 140 characters per message, but it’s better than nothing, right?! It means we can have texting conversations of a sort, defying the international charge rates! …all of a sudden I feel slightly more connected to some of my wonderful Tumblr brothers and sisters!

I won’t show their post as you don’t need to see what they said. I apologise, Anon, for riling and angering you and such, but i’d say 2 things, and I say them out of love and care, and as a friend:
1) If you are a follower of Christ, talking like that won’t help you in your efforts to get into heaven.
2) If you’re that concerned about their future, maybe you should ask yourself if you’re doing all you can to share God’s love and message with them? Are you praying for them daily? Perhaps God is working in their hearts and you don’t even realise it, amigo…
I speak for myself in that second point, I could step my game up in that area, but it’s only when you think about the bigger picture that the importance of it sinks in, eh…
Sorry again Anon. I ask for your forgiveness if you feel I have wronged you, though I stand by my original words.

without sounding like a doomsbringer, I honestly couldn’t (and wouldn’t want to) guess at God’s plans…if the second coming happens next year, then that’s awesome; we get to spend eternity with God, Jesus Christ, and those we’ve loved and lost who made it there, a whole lot sooner than perhaps anticipated.
If it’s not His plan, then that’s just as great; more time to share His love and gospel with those who need to hear it most -
the lost.
Either way, as followers of Christ, we’re in a win-win position!

2012 is a win-win situation: God still holds out the offer of eternal life through Him, and 2012 itself has even given us an extra day!

No actually, they haven’t…so I guess congratulations are in order for being the first! Having said that, I’ve never seen the film…but I’m gonna go right ahead and presume that’s an okay thing to say? Or should I be horribly offended!? I have since Google’d said fellow, and I am far from being up to scratch with that man, but I thank you for your kind words just the same! haha. :)

In the natural world, fruit grows when it receives nutrition from the vine/branch of the plant or tree that it is attached to; all that is required to help it grow is fed directly into it. We are much the same in Christ; he is our source of all that we need to grow in God,
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.” - John 15:1
…and so as God tends to us, through Jesus’ impact in our lives and a diet of prayer, reading the Bible, fellowship and living in accordance to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we too can bear fruit…fruit that glorifies God and is good for us, not the fruit of death produced under the sinful nature we previously occupied.

I wish I was alive during the generation of when guys threw rocks at your window, they wrote you love letters, they serenaded you, and you would get phone calls, but I'm stuck with getting poked on facebook, sharing videos on youtube, and one worded text messages.
well I don’t know about other guys, but my future wife will most definitely be getting all of these. :)
