…you’re mine. :)
September 2011
…You kept that new record of yours under wraps in my neck of the woods.
AND it’s a BELTER!
*ear-to-ear grin*
Hooray for discovering top-drawer albums months after they’ve been released, and knowing instantly you’ll be playing it for years to come.
Besides, you appreciate it even more knowing that it could have so easily slipped through your fingers! :)
…fantastic.
i’m being ‘ironic’ and not making a super-long blog!
…tonight.
;D
To Do:
- Visit coast with family on account of le sunshine-du-Late Summer.
- Go to Church and praise God with my brothers and sisters FOR le sunshine and my week in general like a boss. He’s worthy of it!
…oh, and;
- go to see Milton Jones live tonight,

presumably after some sort of dinner in a restaurant. You know the ones, the “going to some social, cultural or artistic event so by nature we eat at some establishment beforehand” meal.
I think that’s what you call a weekend-win. ☑

Christian, photography, tattoos, nature and inspiration are all adequate descriptions. Not a themed blog, though.
especially when you least expect it. :D
I not only want to see how many of you there are out there, but I want to follow every single one of you.
too true :) #matterofmotive
No no, i’m not advertising some online course where i’ll claim you’ve won a FREE scholarship and the chance to meet single persons from ‘your area’ (if your area happens to be Area 51), all for being the 1,983,927,450th visitor to fill out a survey on the theory that sweetcorn is taking over the world, then kicking a football into a goal net guarded by a cartoon keeper with Miley Cyrus’ head.
Yeah, i’ve seen just about every stupid type of banner or pop-up going on t’interweb.
No, this entry instead marks the first day back teaching Guitar Club after school!
A chance to teach fresh minds about learning a new instrument,
overcoming challenges,
working together,
and most importantly ROCK ‘N’ ROLL.
(at this point stagedive from nearest tall object.)
With performances last year including ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘The Final Countdown’, we’ve got a pretty high benchmark to reach for…good job they’re up for it. :D
Not so keen on some suggestions of covers such as; Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Alexandra Burke or JLS…even compared to one lads suggestion of learning Mariachi music!
…seriously excited for this year though, raising my own little troop of rock troubadores…
and having an assistant in the form of the lovely Miss Ellis is a bonus!
- especially as she brings me cake and coffee at the end. omnom. :)
Now; where did i put my poncho?
This piece of music from the Inception Original Soundtrack, by compositional LEGEND Hans Zimmer, wins 2 trophies:
- The trophy for most stunningly-composed, and heart-stopping piece of film score, nay music, i’ve ever heard. So many emotions, so easy to get lost in, so many little musical subtleties that i appreciate more with each play through. Honestly, i think i stop breathing for 9 and a half minutes when this is on.
- The slightly geekier trophy of - “Reason that one of my favourite all-time songs to sing along with has no words.” yep, you read that right. 8-)
It converted me to a film score geek (Orchestra WIN), and when played through my 5.1 surround sound, it makes my entire house tremble. which gives me goosebumples.
that’s how music SHOULD be. in my world. :)
had you not signed it Marcel? that would’ve;
a) remained Anon. for a loooong time
b) worried me.
:D x
