Tomorrow I’m going to go to Church, surround myself with the family of Christ, unload everything this week has brought up in my life, abandon myself in praise and worship,
and just get lost in Him in a way that I cannot when I’m sat at a desk, marking books.
He has seen it, and it will be good.

Anonymous asked: If you really miss that person and really care about them, then why wouldn't you make the effort to talk to them? Even if it does feel a little forced. Maybe it could just be you. And if you care about them then you shouldn't let that get in the way from showing them how you feel. Just a thought.

There’s a few things that need sorting, and a couple of things that I’m trying so hard to deal with and approach in the right way, and it’s hard when a lot of my Dash is clogged with relationship-related hoo-ha about what people are looking for etc.

you’d think it would get to me, but in a way it’s just nature - people stop enjoying things over time, or if they feel wronged or opposed by something in some way they often need to distance themselves from it.
Coming at it from that angle, I can easily see why so many people unfollow me!

A girl from my youth group just called me and told me another girl in our youth group told her she was thinking about killing herself. Please pray for her, and that she doesn’t bring any harm to herself. Please also pray that her father doesn’t hurt her, he is very abusive. Thank you!

The only thing pestering me now is the albeit minute thought that if we were ever to meet, I would not fulfill all that you had hoped and dreamed me to be in person.

My mum just listened to ‘Confession and Direction’, and she couldn’t believe that I wrote it, let alone the words in the space of two days. The fact she was lost for words left me speechless;
this is the first time either of my parents has been truly taken aback with genuine pride in something that I’ve written musically.
I’m kind of tearing up a little.
