Interesting question - everybody seems to be in the habit now of refuting ‘religion’ and branding it a ‘bad thing’…it’s as if the word has become undesirable.
I don’t quite feel that to be true.
Doing something religiously can come about because of a sense of duty or obligation, which I fear is what many people attribute to modern day religions/beliefs/call them what you will.
It can also come about out of a deep spiritual need to fulfill that space inside you that cries out for the hunger to be satisfied.
I’m not saying anyone is right or wrong, but when I say I live religiously, I don’t mean in the sense that I feel it is part of a contract;
I live religiously for God because I have to do it because I need it - it’s what courses through the veins that litter my body.
Obligation through personal necessity,
not obligation for fulfillment.
Leaving that tangent behind - to answer your question, I am a Christian. I have a relationship with a living, breathing God; the same one that planned out your life, my Anon friend!
Bless you. :)
