God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called!

Unashamedly in love with my Lord and Saviour.
Living life by loving others.

Passions and things that make this man include:
ministering to the young hearts of the world,
watching films,
submerging myself in the wonder of music both through listening and composition,
photography,
tattoos,
acting and theatre,
coffee,
adventures,
wildlife,
space and astronomy,
writing in many forms,
and exploring the beauty of the world around us.

If by this point you think we're on the verge of becoming new friends, feel free to inform me of this rather wonderful realisation...

Ask anything or drop in a prayer request too! I'd love to pray with/for you!
Be blessed. :D

Dear people on Facebook:

In response to what a growing number of you are doing lately, let me offer this:

Asking for ‘likes’ on a sometimes irrelevant photo in order to prove someone’s belief in God is ridiculous, and degrading to the very foundation of His Kingdom.

Honestly, think of what you’re reducing the value of His power to.

He challenges us to live out a life that constantly demonstrates our love and belief in Him, not to click some silly button on a social networking site as a one-time definitive proclamation of it.

In no way can, or should that even begin to validate or express our belief in the Lord.

In fact, I’d go so far as to say that you’re using it first and foremost to boost your own reputation, with any glorifying of God’s name a simple by-product.

The absolute worst is when you tell people to ‘share it’, guaranteeing in return that they can watch new friend requests come pouring in.

We are not here to make hundreds of friends for ourselves.

We are here to spread the Gospel so that hearts might be won for Christ.

Show me a reblogged picture or photo with 250,000-something ‘likes’ that does what countless prayer and witnessing to the lost in person cannot,

and I’ll eat my Bible.

Praying you are challenged by this,
Your slightly disgruntled brother in Christ,

Shaun
