God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called!

Unashamedly in love with my Lord and Saviour.
Living life by loving others.

Passions and things that make this man include:
ministering to the young hearts of the world,
watching films,
submerging myself in the wonder of music both through listening and composition,
photography,
tattoos,
acting and theatre,
coffee,
adventures,
wildlife,
space and astronomy,
writing in many forms,
and exploring the beauty of the world around us.

If by this point you think we're on the verge of becoming new friends, feel free to inform me of this rather wonderful realisation...

Ask anything or drop in a prayer request too! I'd love to pray with/for you!
Be blessed. :D

Writing Challenge Post#2

Set by: yetgodisfaithful

Words: Melancholy, brand-new, button, leaf/leaves, dramatic

Word Limit: None set (I did enquire but got no response and wanted to get start haha!)

It was on that drab September morning she awoke earlier than usual. It was no mystery as to why, though - today was the first day of a new term. After carefully selecting a top to match her chinos, Alicia fastened the top button on her brand-new coat. Recently purchased with the intention of making a positive impression amongst her social peers, the burgundy of her seasonal attire matched the autumnal shades of the leaves being carried down the street by the gentle breeze.

She skipped breakfast, her hunger subsiding at the overpowering melancholy brought on by the looming realisation that this year might turn to be like all the rest, only with different teachers, and a constantly changing soundtrack that would continue to give her some form of escape from the dramatic existences of those she lived and studied with. She took comfort in knowing that a handful of the bands she liked had new songs on the horizon, which brought a smile to her face, unleashing the dimples on her freckled cheeks that her family loved so much yet had, until now, escaped the notice of any of the guys she found attractive.

She forced the barrier of anxiety to the recesses of her mind as she grabbed her bag, checked for the essentials: phone, keys, purse, something to write on, and more importantly with, and with that, Alicia hit the button to start the music that would provide the background to her journey, and left the house.
