God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called!

Unashamedly in love with my Lord and Saviour.
Living life by loving others.

Passions and things that make this man include:
ministering to the young hearts of the world,
watching films,
submerging myself in the wonder of music both through listening and composition,
photography,
tattoos,
acting and theatre,
coffee,
adventures,
wildlife,
space and astronomy,
writing in many forms,
and exploring the beauty of the world around us.

If by this point you think we're on the verge of becoming new friends, feel free to inform me of this rather wonderful realisation...

Ask anything or drop in a prayer request too! I'd love to pray with/for you!
Be blessed. :D

Today I bought myself a hardback edition of The Hobbit. It’s beautiful.

Oh, my heart.

I am 8 and a half pages in-

and I am in love with this book. It’s amazing how inanimate items reveal to me the things I hope my future partner will appreciate for herself.

My vocabulary is widening wonderfully with the most fantastical words!

I hereby declare that I will henceforth spend as many Saturdays as I can spare cooped up in the library with coffee and books.

Today has been magical.

Reading explorers journals,

researching God’s Word, its authors and the motives behind their writings,

taking sheet music (which I also learned to read using a book from the library; new skill WIN) for piano and transcribing it for guitar in my notebook,

and sharing smiles and sincere words with strangers as they happily kept an eye on my stuff while I went wandering and got lost between shelves and book covers. :)

Like I said,

magical. :)

I completely forgot…

I was so engrossed in the creation of that last post it totally slipped my mind I was going to share something funny that I came across at work today -

In one of the childrens’ Reading Diaries, a girl wrote a comment saying “Granny is very funny…also sometimes she pretends to be death.”

I immediately burst out laughing at the mental image of a film in which the Grim Reaper is played by someone who looks likes Mrs. Doubtfire.

It’s amazing the fun a simple spelling mistake can create.
